Ladies of the Household,

Having had elections at our last Session on March 2^nd, I am humbly grateful and proud that I am writing this as your Nydia Temple No. 4’s Queen-Elect.  I personally invite each of you to join me and the officers at the formal open Installation of Officers on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Al Kader Shrine Center in Wilsonville. Following the installation, we will be treated to performances by all three of our units, and then a reception with time to visit with friends we have not seen in a very long time.

My congratulations go to Queen Gail Mitchell Martin as her year is concluding. Queen Gail’s reign has been marked with the difficulties experienced during a pandemic year, however, she went forward with grace, dignity and kindness. When Stated Sessions occurred while we were all staying home, she had Zoom sessions. When we were able to meet again, we did so in a safe manner – socially distanced and masked! As much as possible, Official Queen’s Visits to Nydia Temple clubs were held, and we had fun! Thank you, Queen Gail, for your unwavering optimism and loyalty to the members of Nydia Temple.

I’m so proud of our officers serving this upcoming year; please come to our installation to help support and thank them!

Ladies, it’s that time of the year again when we start fresh new beginnings. We’re leaving winter behind and enjoying all the newness of spring. It looks as though COVID is finally letting go and becoming less virulent. We will soon be able to enjoy gathering in groups and meeting face to face, when masks become optional.

Nydia Temple No. 4 has just held our annual Election of Officers and we are looking forward to a brand new term full of promise and adventures. Sadly, due to the stresses of the pandemic and our inability to see one another, there are quite a number of ladies that have not paid their dues for our last term (2021) and are now needing to pay for the upcoming one, as well.

Please check with the Princess Recorder, PQ Jennifer Moyer, if you do not currently have a GOLD dues card for the 2021 term. You may be behind. The upcoming term (2022) card is GREEN and will be needed to attend sessions this term.

We appreciate all of our members and wouldn’t want to lose anyone. If you are having difficulties, please let the Pr. Recorder know. We can help.

Dear Nile Officers and Ladies of the Household,

My how this year has flown by !!  We are to hold our last Session for my term as your Queen this next Wednesday, March 2nd. This is an important meeting, as we will hold elections of our officers for the year ahead, as well as for our voting delegates at Supreme Session in June.

Please join us for a social lunch time at 11:30.  If you will bring your own sandwich, the line officers and I will provide a lovely assortment of desserts and beverages at no cost to you.

There will be one more chance to purchase chances for the Queen’s project quilt, and then we will have the drawing for our winner.  Thank you all who have been so supportive of me this year!  I couldn’t have done it without you, Past Queens, officers and handmaidens.  Thank you !!
