Ladies, after careful consideration, it is clear to me that it would be in the best interest of our Temple and our ladies to hold the September stated session via Zoom, rather than in person. I am truly disappointed, however, I feel it’s important to heed the warnings of the virus and its variants, and to follow the new rules of the State of Oregon and the Al Kader Shrine Center.
The September Stated Session will be held by Zoom on Wednesday, September 1st, starting at 12:30 pm. There will be a Zoom Social Hour starting at 11:30 am, so feel free to join in early and visit until 12:30 when we begin the session. Contact either PQ Kathy Walliker or PQ Jennifer Moyer for the meeting link information. (If you wish to be added to the list to receive Zoom links automatically without asking, let PQ Kathy know.) The line officers had planned a “welcome back” lunch, which will be postponed until we can meet and eat together again.
We initiated two ladies in July, and it’s time to start looking ahead towards our next ceremonial in January and any possible obligation-only ceremonies between now and January. Ladies, please fill out proposals and mail or email to the Pr. Recorder before session so they can be read that day. The health of our membership depends on current members turning in proposals, so we can get the process started. Any questions about qualifications, the process, etc., please contact Pr.
